Visited on Saturday with my daughter and granddaughter. The pub itself is lovely, wonderful garden too. Obviously very busy. My daughters Aperol Spritz was flat, she drank it all before telling me, I don't think she wanted to make a fuss.I did mention this to the duty manager, so he could pass the feedback to the bar staff. read moreThe Fishes, a charming pub with a lovely garden, served delicious food like baked Camembert and exceptional roasts. Despite some issues with service and drink quality, it offers a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The Smoked Mackerel Pâté was high quality, but the portions were small and not entirely satisfying. However, the Steak and Ale Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding were superb. The prices were reasonable, and the beers were excellent. Overall, The Fishes is a delightful dining spot, perfect for gathering with friends and family, except for minor setbacks. A definite recommendation for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.
