Chongqing Szechuan Bistro, located in the heart of International Village near Chinatown, offers a unique dining experience. Despite being almost empty, the decor is charming, reminiscent of a 70's disco. The food is incredibly delicious, among the best experienced. The service is attentive, and the atmosphere is quiet yet worth a visit. Accommodating even in their early days, the restaurant allowed bringing wine for a corkage fee. With fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes, this bistro is a hidden gem not to be missed. It offers a culinary experience that leaves guests wanting to return.

Deep within the 'International Village' complex at 88 West Pender near Chinatown is a jewel - the Chongqing Szechuan Bistro. We had Groupons so we made reservations, but the restaurant was nearly empty. Very interesting decor (a mid-70's discotheque?), very nice and comfortable.
