We arrived at the market at 12:30 on a Monday to find the placed crowded with an exceptionally large number of people. By 1:30 the place was more reasonable as far as people go. We went to this deli and ordered a lunch plate with perogies, sauerkraut, sour cream and choice of sausage all for $11. We also ordered the pastrami sandwich on rye with cheese and sauerkraut and the bagel with lox and cream cheese. The sandw... View all feedback.

Beyond the tasty sausages and perogies, there are many options for delicious sandwiches to choose from.
A must-try when in Vancouver. You'll be craving one of their Polish sausages with some grainy mustard.
The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and kind. I definitely intend to visit this restaurant whenever I am in Vancouver!
I had the pastrami and it was delicious. Loads of meat and the flavour was perfect. I enjoyed the rye bread as well. If you're on granville looking for lunch, try it out.
When we go to Granville Island, we usually wind up at one of the many restaurants that they have and avoid eating at the food court. Not because they don’t have good food there but because it’s so busy and there’s limited seating. Well, while trying out Chau Veggiexpress, we decided to pick up the Perogy Plate with Bratwurst $11) at Kaisereck Deli. The plate comes with a mix of mini perogies cheddar and potato, chicken, and pork fillings) and you can top them off with the condiments of your choice.
