I can’t remember how I first heard about Kin Kao Thai Kitchen but it made it onto my list of places to try. We dropped in on an early Wednesday evening. No problem getting a table. The inside is hip and modern but still has a laid back, East Van vibe to it. Interesting that the front staff is all Caucasians but the kitchen staff/cooks are Thai. read more.

In beautiful weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area, And into the accessible spaces also come guests with wheelchairs or physiological disabilities.

Kin Kao blew me out of the water. The entire experience was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant itself is very simple with clean lines and minimalist decor. The staff were incredibly friendly, provided great service and their recommendations were appreciated. They carry a nice selection of local beers.
