I've played live music at the Kino for the last 12 -13 years (gypsy-jazz 3rd monday) and I must say that the new owner is doing a good job at cleaning the place up. The menu has shifted for the better, the stage sound is better, the new paint and improved kitchen have all been steps up for this institution in our fine city. I went to the Kino Cafe for the first time last weekend. The Flamenco entertainment was excellent and worth at least one visit. The problem with this place is the service, in my opinion. On the way to the bathroom I ran into a really rude obnoxious guy who I thought was a drunk patron.
