Had a beef burrito in a bowl for lunch. Have been to Red Burrito a number of times and they are consistently good. Not really a Mexican burrito nor is the hot sauce very hot. Be better for me if they had some chopped jalapeño's or a hotter hot sauce but the food quality for cheap (relatively speaking .after all this is Vancouver) eats is good. I love Mexican food generally, but this was only OK. I had the regular size burrito, with spicy beef that wasn't especially spicy. The refried beans were bland. The lettuce tasted like it was soggy before it went in the wrap. Just a disappointment. BUT the horchata - now it was delicious! It's made daily and stored in a fridge. It was perfect! read more.
