"This is a great place to have a dinner. Honestly I don't know why it only has 4 and a half stars. The food was excellent, the service was great. For me it is a must go to. They serve hobest tasteful food, large portions and the waitresses were lovely and intersested and above all enthusiastic about whst they are doing and serving. "The owner (a really weird lady) told us: I'll prepare you a beautiful Cataplana, you'll have to wait for a while, but then... Ok, half an hour later, a Cataplana arrived, full of ......Surimi!!!!! We couldn't believe what we saw. Cataplana was full of low-quality fat, small chunks of fish, and tons of surimi. This is the best way to ruin the gastronomical reputation of an island."

A small selection on the menu, but for me that means quality and certainly is. An open kitchen means you can see from your table your food being prepared and cooked. Staff are great and helpful. I certainly recommend a visit whilst in Pico"
