"My wife and I love this hidden gem! By hidden, I mean you really have to know where it is to find it but it sure is worth it. The beer selection is dynamic and thorough. The menu is comprehensive but we come for the burgers and fried pickles. Now, let 's not forget the fried pickles. I have had many fried pickles from around Alabama and these are by far the best! A very tasty and crunchy corn meal batter but they don 't sacrifice batter for the pickle taste. The ratio is perfect. And, the awesome white dipping sauce is killer! My favorite burger is the Jamn Gouda Burger. It is on a super soft and well-grilled/toasted bun. The meat is charred just enough on the outside edge and juicy in the middle for my medium well taste. This patty must be handmade. The shredded gouda was sprinkled on along with all the regular fixings. The bacon jam is what makes this unique burger stand out. The bacon pieces are thick and the jam is flavorful. I chose tots over the shoestring fries. An overall great experience. My only critique is for our server. She said she was new and she did a good job. However, if you don 't know about something (we asked about a specific beer my wife likes) please ask someone who may know a bit more. She just said 'I don 't know because I am new and learning '. Other than that, all of our food was out to us promptly and the refills were plentiful. I highly recommend The Ridge!"

"I had king Pao chicken and an egg roll all delicious! I wish the entrees came with egg roll or soup like at restaurants I've gone to in the past, but I don't hold it against them. Fantastic Chinese food and this will definitely be my go to Chinese take out in Bham!"

"Cajun Seafood House was and continues to be one of my favorite local Cajun restaurants. The food is consistent and inexpensive. You have full bar with a nice beer and wine selection, but you would miss if you did not order from their classic Louisiana cocktail menu. The atmosphere is more of a romantic culinary experience with a touch of Louisiana Flare. Nothing above the top or sticky like a lot of the other Cajun restaurants I have inaugurated."

"We stopped in the area as a pit stop in our way home. Everyone had food from another place I did not want to eat and this place was the next closest thing. I ordered the falafel sandwich with fruit. I honestly did not have my hopes up. When I received my to go order it was neatly packaged. The fruit looked fresh and appetizing and it was. I honestly thought I was going to get a plastic ramekin of some canned fruit. The sandwich was equally aesthetically pleasing as it was delicious. I wish we had this where we live and could eat here more often. If I’m ever driving through this area this place will be a must to stop for me! Excellent!"
