I love Avalon. In terms of breakfast in downtown it is easy out of the way... but that means that it is rarely busy and it almost never a line. It is a small diner serving hearty comfort food. They make their own oat bread and jam. During my last visit I had the Avalon Skillet and made super happy. My eggs were perfectly fried and everything was great! read more.

Great portion, food was hot but the eggs were not medium poached, the ham on the Benny was so thick it was hard to eat. And the potatoes were cut so big that they were raw on the inside. Benny sauce was good tho. read more.
