Some customers no longer find the fish up to par, criticizing its quality and preparation. However, others praise the light batter, real potatoes, and friendly staff at this cozy establishment. With a mix of Chinese food and traditional dishes, opinions are varied on the direction of the new management. Despite differing opinions, many patrons appreciate the authentic English feel and plan on returning to enjoy the diverse menu offerings.
This is the best fish and chips I have ever had. The fries were crispy and the halibut was delicious. Everything was just perfect.
The fish and chips at this restaurant are absolutely fantastic. I truly enjoyed every bite of it. As a fan of fish and chips, I have had my fair share over the years and I must say, the cod and chips here were amazing. The service was fast and friendly, and the location is great too. Overall, a wonderful experience!
We ordered the dinner for four fish and chips and we were not let down! The fish was juicy and flaky, with a light and crispy batter. The prawns were also deliciously crunchy. The fries were excellent, perfectly crispy. The meal came with all the condiments, including white malt vinegar, ketchup, tartar sauce, lemon, salt, and pepper, as well as napkins and utensils, all individually packaged. It was a pleasant surprise. We can't wait to try other items on the menu in the near future.
Best fish and chips I?ve had yet, in Victoria! Great portion size of fish, tartar sauce was delicious and fries too. I would say this is comparable, if not better than, Red Fish Blue Fish without the crazy lineups. ????
Some of the best fish and chips I've had since moving back from England. The batter was perfect, the wings succulent, the fish juicy and scrumptious, prawns and spring rolls fantastic and the fries oh the fries!!!! Lovely people there as well
