Small neighborhood restaurantMostly takeout but with a few tablesCurry stew made three different ways: lamb, chicken, and vegetables with rice.

Since I live not far from the Oak Bay area, I go to this little restaurant-cafe at least once every week.

I visit Victoria a few times a year and always have this little gem at the top of my list of places to eat.

I live relatively close to Saffron and I have eaten there several times. The various stews with rice are AMAZING!!!! Even my meat eater boyfriend loved the vege...

"Very tasty food prepared beautifully. We had butter chicken, aloo Gobi and lamb shish kebabs. All are recommended, but the kebabs are special. One word to the wise: their medium is quite hot! I usually enjoy spice but this was hot for my taste. I would go back and try milder. They are take out only (Nov 2023)"

"Went in for lunch, was not disappointed. All of us ordered off their bowl menus and portion size was reasonable. Nice and Clean Tables, good service, good good. Would recommend a visit for sure, and if planning an outing their menu is also very good for take out."

"Thank you for your feedback. If we visit Victoria again, we will stop by and give it another shot. It must be good because there's always a line. It just wasn't my lucky day.We were so excited to try this place and in the morning we headed out. The place was late to open and we got there while the tables were being put out. We ordered and the waffle dough wasn’t ready so we had to go with something else. It was not the best. I make better ones at home. Sadly we were not impressed and I was so excited about going there."

"The sweetest farmhouse with delicious brunch with fresh local ingredients. we had the half (pancakes and half benny,) the golden benny and their bone broth. everything was colorful, tasteful and high quality. highly recommended, go at least 15min before they open, so they can sniff the first seats."

"Service was quick and friendly. Food was good, signature rolls were great and tasted as "fancy "rolls do, a lot going on but all very tasty. Sashimi slabs were buttery and perfect temperature."
