Worst customer service I’ve experienced. We had lunch there a couple of days ago and we had lunch outside on the terrace as we have a dog but today we were refused to be served without much explanation why. I did ask how is it possible that the last time we could eat and today not and the only answer I received was BECAUSE! After asking for explanation one more time they became more and more rude. Hotel bonito, bem localizado junto a uma linda praia. Com um serviço cuidadoso e com pessoas muito simpáticas. O quarto era super espaçoso e bonito.

"Well, we love beer and make it a point to try and visit at least one local beer bar or brewpub on our trips and this was it. First of all it is not really in VFDC; it is on the outskirts of if not frankly in the next village. Very unobtrusive. It's basically 3 doorways in a building next to the church. Parked on the street. Few indoor tables. Looked a bit like a repurposed large rest room. Tiled, not exactly warm and fuzzy. Lots of locals. That's usually a good sign but there's something about Azorean and Portuguese men which looks a bit....rough? So my wife and I walked in, we stick out a bit because we're travelers and of course had packs etc and we got a few glances but no trouble. ordered two beers lagers paid and walked out and sat on the steps of the church. Bunch of kids were listening to music and drinking in a small square across the street. Interesting local experience and very good beer. Not sure if they had food; we just had our own chips. Didn't hang out. Not a trendy millenial hangout but worth a visit."
