This is a basic, no frills small restaurant. Fresh fish grilled is excellent but do not expect too much: this is a basic family type restaurant with TV on. Grilled fish is served with a salad and boiled potatoes, you can also get fries. A few tables inside and more outside. Friendly owner and service. This is good value by UK standards for the menu del dia, however, by Portuguese standards the dish of the day is very average. Not encouraged by the lack of any real greeting. The soup was passable. We had the bacalhau and the tuna salad....The bacalhau was acceptable but the tuna salad was a real let down as the tuna appeared to be from a tin. Not what you expect at a fish restaurant.
