We had two nice meals at Le Val Soleil. We are an English couple (65/63) and were in a Gite de France in a nearby village. If you like to go and desserts, you need to try Cafe Gormande a mix of the House Desserts... magnifique! In Ville the restaurants are all shut on Mondays bar the Val'Soleil, so we gave it a go. We sat outside as it was exceptionally hot (30C+). In the UK the food on offer would nowadays be considered as average (or below) pub food. Portions are enormous (be warned) especially the salads - we shared one between two.
