Stopped off here as I got off the bus from Nice to Villefranche before heading for the beach, for just a coffee. It 's one of those "tabac ' tobacconists/newsagents that serve also pastries, beers aperitifs and possibly breakfast muffins. Small restaurant in the bistro atmosphere of the back room, I took a very good and copyy niçoise salad! The service is welcoming and smiling. We'll be back!
A quality to the top a very good service of sauces that return prices very correct briefs I love and I come back to her as soon as I have the opportunity
My wife and I rent an apartment every year just a few steps away from this tabac/coffee shop. I always stop in for a coffee and a croissant every morning, and sometimes in the afternoon or evening, we will stop for a glass of wine. We never see anyone except locals here, I do not know why. It is not hard to find, but it is away from areas where most of the tourists go. It is a quite place, with some inside seating, but it is more fun to sit outside and watch the people and cars go by. However, many of the folks who stop here smoke, if that bothers you.

That said, you get an honest taste of local snack food for the real French experience . And for coffee lovers, the coffee is magnifique. Just imagine coffee being squeezed from rocks like gold and poured steaming into a little espresso cup, well that 's how it tasted to me- liquid gold. I 'm normally an americano drinker, but there, I had a double espresso on my second visit, really great.
