I've eaten a few times here and a groupon. I called a night to see if we had to eat personally what we did. the gale, cat, was super nice on the phone and said she was there when we wanted to eat the next day. she was a great server and my partner loved her eating. beautiful that we got the groupon and had a wonderful experience. What User doesn't like about Wasabi Japanese Cuisine:
at first this place has big sushi. but it really depends on who does it and the workers who serve them. When we first came here, we had to sit down because we waited 15 minutes for a table, and there were clearly 3 clean tables. Hard to find good sushi places lately, but this one did not disappoint for me whatsoever. Definitely will come back when I can... Hopefully that is soon. I recommend the Vista roll. It was my favorite and will most likely stay that way. Staff are also very friendly and for being outside right now, the tables and service are very well maintained.
We often bring our dogs to nearby South Buena Vista Park (excellent off leash dog park) and were in the mood for sushi. I’m so glad we stopped here! The food was very fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. And the service was terrific we had a very responsive and friendly waitress, Rosa, even as we ate at one of the small outside tables.
I had the dragon roll, which was simply delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have outdoor tables, which is a necessity during this pandemic. Will definitely be going back.
Best sushi in San Diego area or probably anywhere. The service is awesome too. We had the waitress recommend the best one and she gave us the sushi she eats whenever working there. Which was the best piece of sushi I've ever had. I didn't even taste like sushi. It had lemon slices and chili. Just perfect. Also the fried rice is out of this world!
Just moved into the area and was happy to find a good sushi place right away. Its fresh, good quality and the portions are right on. We have been several times since we moved in the day before Thanksgiving. I definitely recommend.
