Just to be upfront...we did not take the gondola up and walk to the restaurant..... We drove up the crazy little road and found ourselves on top of the world. This is a true Swiss experience....remote and fairly generation farmers. Really you have to...keep where you are in mind as you eat the delicious homemade food. It’s not for everyone....a family business...a beautiful view...authentic! read more.

This is a straightforward, no nonsense, large portion tradition menu mountain restaurant. If the weather is good, the views from outside are excellent. The sun can be a bit strong so sitting under the awning is preferable.It's easily reachable for lunch if you've taken the train up to Rigi Kulm.One word of advice-do check the bill my waitress mixed up my table with someone else's. read more.

"Stayed at the hotel / guest house for four nights and only discovered the talents of the owners (a Chef) on the last night. Daniel makes his own cured meats, locally caught venison, and uses extensive local produce in his cooking. We had a dinner for five which was a mini-degustation menu, with lots of little extras and surprises. The warmth and friendliness of the venue mixed with innovative and exciting food were a real treat."

"Eating here is really delicious. I love the Chinese cuisine and this restaurant is probably one of the best in the Swiss. Probably I am not just one like for a Wednesday night it was packed. I have the Vegi option: tofu szechuan with fried...rice, more wonderful soße and very tasty tofu not on the picture) can recommend it. in another place, I also had a court with roasted bark, which was also very good. the staff is very fast, friendly and helpful. the owner has good humor.
