What happened here?!! I used to adore this place when I worked down the street on Franklin years ago I yearned for their smoky, barky brisket; two types

"The food was absolutely delicious. Spices were very flavorful and just enough heat in the food. I loved the Scotch bonnet hot sauce for some extra kick. The sorrel ginger drink was herbal, sweet with a fresh ginger finish. So glad that we saw this place and stopped."

"Great food and wonderful service. Treated like family. Brisket was amazing and chicken was tender and moist. Kim and Papa were so welcoming and friendly too. Had buttermilk pecan pie to top it off ! Outstanding!"
