"First time with Jamaican cuisine. It was excellent! I had the Curried Chicken with Steamed Vegetables, Rice and Plantains. Very favorable with a bit of a kick. The Pineapple Ginger drink was perfect. For dessert I had the delicious Bread Pudding. The owner was very helpful and a really nice guy!"

"Stopped by for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. The have beers wine as well as many sandwiches, salads and burger choices. There is plenty seating both indoors and out on the patio. We tried the goat cheese burger and the steak sandwich. Service was prompt and friendly as well."

"First of all, we are new to the area. We looked for awhile trying to find a place we wouldn't regret. We read several different places' reviews and landed on shorty's as the place for supper. Wow! We we're not disappointed at all. I would give you a 10 if that was an option. Our meat lovers 18 was the best I've had since I was a kid, and that one was over 1,000 miles away from here. The cheese pizza 18 was just so satisfying. The meat lovers pillow was the bomb dot com. I will definitely be back. Not sure I have a need to try any other pizza place from here on out. I would add a picture but we began to eat before we got a picture and didn't stop until it was gone. Thank you Shorty's for a great meal for the whole family. We will be back."

"Amazing lunch! Food (Angus Club, tomato/cucumber salad, chips and tea) was great and workers even split it up for 2 of us to share! I felt bad for them though because there wasonly one person working. I think he checked us out AND made our food. Boo to the restaurant for not having better staffing, as we saw almost EVERY table was dirty and obviously that poor kid couldn't do everything!!"

"My family ate at Portofino’s during the Baylor Family Weekend, and although we experienced extremely slow service, we still enjoyed very much. The food tastes phenomenal. I recommend the aubergines parmigiana. Everyone loved their food. Again they were very busy and the service was very slow. But the waiters tried their best to maintain demand, and finally we enjoyed it here. We're coming back!"

"Fantastic meal at a reasonable price. I had a combination plate. It had cheese enchiladas, ground beef taco and guacamole tostada. Every bite was very good. Then we had soppapillas for dessert. Everything was freshly made and brought out quicklyand hot. Our waitress was fantastic as well. I can't thing of any negatives. The price was $10-$15 lower than ourexpectations for the two of us. I will definitely be a repeat customer."
