"Shige's Saimin Stand is a great little gem of Wahiawa. I stopped there to eat while taking a little ride. It's been years since I been there. I ordered their fried saimin with a hamburger (my favorite). It was so good, just like I remembered and the staff was friendly and the service was great. Nothing important has changed, and that's a great thing. "Rarely go through Wahiawa, but did on a Saturday morning. Picked up some brownie fingers for my sister-in-law law. Of course I had to pick up for the hubby as he loves brownies. But my best find was the custard like butter rolls..back to the brownie fingers, they seem to taste better after a few days. Ladies at the bakery are very happy and friendly also. Parking that day was good as I've heard at times you can't get into the parking lot. We were in and out in a matter of 5 minutes. Will come back if in the area again."

"Great food for the area, Ill give it the second best burger I had on Oahu on my last visit. The staff was very nice. Please note inside dining was closed as of October 2021 so you had to eat outside and their is a very limited amount of seating. I still think the trip is worth it, but you might have to take your food and walk a little ways to find a bench."
