"Got the Açaí bowl with added peanut butter, and the barn breakfast burrito. Everything tasted very good especially the burrito and it was big enough to share. Asked for the sour cream to be put on the side and was sad to see they literally gave me the tiniest dollop of it. the bowl was good but was melted prettt bad when I got it. Could have just drank it from the cup. Pineapple could have been more ripe got a few hard pieces. But other than that I would come back to try other items on the menu. They have a lot of healthy organic options which is great!P.S the bathrooms could be kept up better. They are outhouses but were almost completely full. Gross."

"This place is a hidden gem, you have to try it out. The Argentinean Flank Steak is bomb The beef stew is there. The flan is a little sweet for me, but I like it too. Overall, we love the food here."

"It's famous for a reason, so expect a line up, though it does move pretty quickly. Worth the wait? I guess it depends on how long the line is. But the shaved ice is very tasty and the making of it, is a well choreographed assembly line. It's impressive!"

"Pricey definitely but they got the best. Donuts hands down. Pies are even. Great. Best custard pie on the island is my option ... again. Pricey but. It's worth it 100% keep coming back"

"A delicious hole in the wall. highly recommended! prices, good and fair. no surprises. the location was a bit tricky to find a tourist, but it is well located in the middle of the island when it ends through the north shore or honolulu on the other. service was super friendly and helpful when they tell us about their specialties. the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. eating, that was amazing! big aromen and all around a big hit for us, as we needed something simple and fast. in any case worth a visit if they have never been and are going through."

"Serious Eats! I knew going into Roy’s was going to be a financial heart ache but I can now say it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought. More importantly you got more than your moneys worth. DO NOT snack before you go. Our group of 4 from Illinois knew we were going for good food and an experience of a lifetime with great friends. We started with cocktails and complementary edamame, great start. Wait staff was outstanding and described many offerings that were not on the menu as well as some of the signature dishes. Very tough decisions to be made from here. We started with 2- Canoes for Two and Compressed Watermelon Salad. Personally, after the fact I can say I could have just had the Watermelon and Feta Salad. Very light and refreshing vs. egg rolls and complements For the entree, I had Chinese Style Opakapaka. It had bits of sausage and mushrooms sitting on baby Boc Choy. I have to say it was the best fish I have ever had, being from ILLINOIS remember. Then I tried my friends Misoyaki Butterfish. OMG, this fish was amazing. If you are a group of 2, these would be the two dishes to get so you can share. HUGE portions that are double the size for the price we would get in the Midwest. The last entree was the Grilled Japanese Hamachi. Delicious fish, huge portion but just didn’t amaze me like the other 2. We had coupons for desert. The Lava Cake was such a good way to finish a Celebratory meal with great friends. Drinks, Mai Tai was the favorite over the Martini. The lady’s loved the Chardonnay."
