"They had amazing food and the business was run by a family that had travelled over to NZ from France. This made the food authentic and ea h dish felt like it had a lot of love put into it. The chef came around to ask how the food was and we had a good chat. The food was divine and the chocolate fondant was the best I have ever had. This is a must see place and it has a great atmosphere."

"Went for lunch . We got couple of tap beers well known 1 the ribeye which was delicious, 2 squid deep fried amazing could have been a bit more spicier 3 Pizza as known for the cafe , was great . My personal fav Ribeye ."

"First time we had been. Great food, quick efficient service, great wine list and live music!! Will definitely be back. We had muscle chowder, pasta, calamari and polenta chips. Everything was cooked perfectly."

"This lovely Cafe has the best food my family and I have tried since being up here in Northland,just great quality well cooked food, great service from lovely staff,who are obviously happy to be at work,and the chef certainly has a very high standard, even my youngest daughter commented on how nice her breakfast was,thanks so much for a great dining experience"
