"Great pub in Brightlingsea. Staff were really welcoming. I can personally recommend the veggie burger. It was the tastiest, greenest burger! Delicious. Crab was also a winner, my partner could of eaten more of it though as it was so good. If visiting Brightlingsea, pop in here."

"Excellent classic fish chips, highly recommended. Fish batter was light and not greasy, fish fresh. Chips lovely. Cooked to order and worth the wait. Staff polite and helpful in a busy very hot shop."

"Friendly staff and clean environment . Very small portions for a high price . Not happy . Small up of coffee £3:75. Very small bagel £8:50 . Very very small slice of veg frittata with a little salad £12:50. Not going again . Shame as a nice little cafe setting off the A12"
