We had a group of about 25, seeing off some friends. This place ain’t like any other restaurant It’s like a country kitchen. Furnishings are a bunch of kitchen tables and chairs. The restaurant and its premises are wheelchair accessible and thus usable with a wheelchair or physiological disabilities, and there is free WiFi. If the weather are right, you can also eat outside.

What Bigcaintoad doesn't like about Kalahari A Taste of Africa:
We have been going here on and off since it opened. Unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down hill and the place is more creche than cafe. We had the special tasting plate for two, 90% of which came out of a frozen packet. All in all very disappointing and there are now much better South African Cafes in the area. read more.
