What Mr20132013 likes about Ed's Diner:
Service not so good, I am guessing they were short staffed due to xmas etc and heavy foot full. Food was nice and hot and as you woudl except. I would have had another drink but your did not come back. In all ok, may come again but just wanted food quickly. View all feedback.

What 902sarahc doesn't like about Ed's Diner:
Visited here with mum and sister for breakfast and pancakes. Lovely service and great fun menu. We were seated at 9 as soon as they opened and sadly they didn’t have any brown bread. View all feedback.

"Excellent service from the very beginning, turned up without a booking, was given a welcome glass of iced water as soon as we were seated. Atmosphere was great, laid back and music was good. Our order was taken promptly and food arrived quickly. I’d give six stars if possible for the food, it did not disappoint."

"Absolutely Amazing food and service! (Especially the lamb! We were not meant to be eating in here initially but we looked over and the shawarma looked so delicious we just had to go in. The place is small but thats not an issue because it's very CLEAN! As mentioned we were on our way to a different place to eat so when we walked in we had NO idea what to order. I'm guessing it was the owner, was so patient and talked me through what he thought would be best to order and what would be included in it. He started us off with lentil soup- and oh my days there was an explosion of flavours in my mouth! Never have I tasted lentil soup as delicious as that! While we got over that our table was wiped down and our main dish was bought to us- we went for the mixed grill- I prefer lamb and was delighted to hear it was actually lamb used and NOT mutton! Portion size was very good, I would recommend having a read of the menu as there's alot included in it, we had some left over that we brought home. I picked up a piece of lamb thinking it's going to be chewy but I was really surprised that it was so soft and succulent! None of the flavours were overpowering and we really enjoyed our meal. And once again as we finished our meal, our table was swiftly cleared and aromatic tea bought to us -I'm not a tea person- especially if it has no milk- but I found myself sitting there drinking this delicious warm aromatic tea WITH a piece of chocolate orange brownie. I would highly recommend visiting this place. You will not be disappointed! And it's FRESH FOOD, nothings being brought out from the back it's all there Infront of you."

"The coffee and one of the cakes were fine but the millionaires shortbread was so hard it was inedible. Whilst it's great you have some tables down a steep hill this isn't ideal for people who can't manage this, could you put a few tables near the exit/chickens?"
