"This was our first time here, we came from out of town for a getaway weekend in the area and chose to have dinner here tonight, so we made reservations. The restaurant's interior decor and design captured my attention right away, it was visually ambient and upscale. We were greeted by the little young lady working the front desk, and the server came over and took us to our table right away. We ordered the California roll, Chicken Hibachi dinner, Chicken Katsu, and green tea mochi. We got our soup and salad, which were delicious starters. The California roll was perfect. The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy, flavorful, delicious paired with the sweet chili sauce on the side and the sticky white rice. It's one of my favorite dishes and this did not disappoint, they were spot on with how they make it. My partner's chicken hibachi meal was fantastic, he was very satisfied with his meal. The green tea mochi was the last thing that came, and it was light and delicious topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and sprinkles. The perfect dessert after all that we had. The server was wonderful, she checked on us consistently, and was very friendly and courteous. We appreciated it. We were very happy with our visit, everything was spot on and I would recommend this place, it's a real gem, wonderful mom and pop restaurant!"

"My wife wanted to come here after a special occasion and it turned out as good as I hoped it would for her. Even though it was busy we were able to be seated right away. The server had our drinks and an appetizer for us in less than 10 minutes! The food was good, wait staff was extremely fast and noticed anytime we needed something. Would recommend."

"Came here on a Saturday night, and it was not too terribly busy around 5:30. Our party of 5 was able to be seated right away, and the server quickly took our drink order. The menu is pretty varied with burgers, seafood, steak, and other various items. We ordered walleye and ribeye steaks. Took about 15 to 20 minutes to get the food, and everything was cooked perfectly. The walleye was delicious. Perfectly pan seared with a light breading and a nice hint of butter. The steak was really good as well. It was cooked medium rare exactly as ordered and had great flavor! Overall, a great experience at The Loading Zone. Friendly staff, good service, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a great place for a family supper!"

"WHERES THE BEEF. Been here a lot, the last 4 times I received this tiny burger. Please charge me more just fill the bun. Otherwise service was fantastic and food is very good tap beer selection is awesome. Tommy was our waiter and did an excellent job."
