"On this weekend I celebrated my 40th birthday in alfred. on Saturday I met friends for a few drinks and the atmosphere was fab. today, the weekend was perfectly rounded off by the best pub roast I've ever had. nice eating. tonne of it. not only a meal, but a hard one. thank you for making me so much fun. keren hudson."

"Picked up our takeout order. We’ve always had a great meal. Last night was ok but the shredded crispy chilly beef was awful, some were ok but the majority was tough stringy and inedible. Very disappointing, after so many good meals from here."

"Chinese new year 2022. the restaurant was packed (with East Asia, also to myself, which is always a good sign) but the compromise between service and quality of food. it was so tasty, fresh, and the tee and scurry were regularly refreshed. great menu. not huge, but had everything we wanted, and some new things we had not tried before. they even grabbed my rest until home. I think this has become my new goto Chinese restaurant outside londons. it was great. highly recommended."

"Myself and my partner went to the restaurant this Saturday evening . It is one of the best thai restaurants in the South East of England the taste and presentation of food first class . "Lovely Sunday Roast and delicious fresh dessert. The service was super friendly, shout out to Emma who was super helpful. My roast chicken was juicy and tender, potatoes were crispy and filling, veg cooked nicely and gravy was tasty, Yorkie was ok. Loved my chocolate cake with cherry sorbet and almonds! Definitely returning customer! Little note for management: the charge of over £14 for a cauli steak is very excessive. Please consider serving a nut roast for veggie eaters."
