I'm visiting from Manchester and what a lovely little lunch we had today, made even lovelier by adorable Tinkerbell the cat who came to eat with us. She has perfect table manners and even curled up for an afternoon snooze after her lunch. We stopped for a drink and to ask some of the locals what was the best Indian restaurant in Crowborough. We were given some choices while sampling the various gins of England. I also had the house Chardonnay which was quite good. Pubs are pushing their beers and mixed drinks so none of them have a good wine list. Food being brought out looked like quality pub grub.
