"Lovely people. I spoke to Chef Jan about Coeliac Disease and he was very knowledgeable. He advised they can provide a gluten free meal but not garenteed Coeliac friendly food. The meal was tasty."

"Sunday lunch is my favourite meal of the week. I am a vegetarian and often find it tricky when I go out for Sunday lunch, as I am given an alternative such as lasagne, when I want a roast dinner without meat! We came across this place whilst looking online for places in the area which did a good Sunday lunch. The menu looked great, so we gave it a go. The pub itself is lovely, very welcoming and comfortable. The service was great- attentive and completely 'on it ', without being over bearing. The food was amazing, tasty, cooked to perfection, and plentiful. My husband had a pudding, and said it was lovely, and we both had coffee. The coffee came with individual homemade shortbread biscuits, which were a nice touch. We enjoyed it so much we came back for a second time on Sunday 13th August. It was just as good as before, and such a lovely atmosphere. The table next to us moaned about the music being too loud. It really wasn 't, it was just enough so that you weren 't listening in to other conversations around you. The staff were lovely and trained to a really high standard, such attention to detail. The owner took our owner and was very friendly and hospitable. We recommended this place to friends who agreed that it was fab. We shall be back again soon. It really is the best place for Sunday lunch"
