"Fun place for a snack and a beer. Loved the rustic interior, but it was too dark for a beautiful day so we sat outside. The staff was nice, the beer was cold and there was parking right there. What more could you ask for? I recommend the fried greenbeans."

"A diamond in the rough. Do not let the simple exterior and No-Frills interior fool you. This place has great diner type of food at prices that cannot beat! Your daily specials (breakfast, lunch and dinner are always a good idea to look on the board over the through window of the kitchen. They are always good quality, and large (actually huge enough portions to take residues home! For dinner specialties, I usually ask that the salad and the desert be packed to take home what they like to do for you. The soups are always very good, although someties a little salty, but nothing that an extra line of pepper cannot compensate. The French toast should die! Nice, thick and perfectly cooked with a slightly crispy outside and softly cooked through inside (no muddy chaos! . The Patty sleeves are a good alternative to Burger-on-a-Bun routines. Wraps are large and contain generous potions of all ingredients. Fries are the beautiful thick-cut style that only beg to spray a few malt vinegar on them. If it is a special order you are looking for, the waiters and kitchen staff work together well to make the perfect meal for you. No, the place is not nice, but I have better meals here than in many more expensive restaurants. Just remember to bring some money, because they don't accept credit cards. Prices are so low that paying cash is not a problem! All waiters are wonderful, but Debbie is always my choice when we dinate there... maybe because we know them so long, and she usually knows what we will order before she goes to our table! When my grandmother was still able to come, though with a lot of difficulty, the waiters and other girls always helped us through the doors and on the table. The kitchen staff knew that they were eating slower and their cooking times adjusted so that they never rushed. This kind of care and service is a rarity in the restaurant business, and I think perfectly illustrates the heart and soul of this place. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and take a bite to eat at Midway Cafe. You will not be disappointed!"

"Loved it so much I came here twice during my trip. We got the Gracies Burger and Steak Eggs, steak was small but delicious, burger was also great! Their biscuits are to die for, especially with that sausage gravy. Second time around we got the Grilled Steak and Smoked Brisket. Steak was amazing, right amount of sear and fat. The brisket was too salty, would have preferred it in a sandwich but still good flavor. Also the caramel apple milkshake and cinnamon apple donut was Decadent "
