Recent drove past this pub and it looked worth a visit so walked down to it today from Drewsteignton and so pleased we did. Fantastic pub, lovely fire, great beer/cider and really friendly barman and locals, what's not to like. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area but please note they don't open til 4pm. Please update your website!!!! Still no food, even without a working kitchen I’m sure they could provide charcuterie or cheese boards, I can only imagine that the locals keep this place open, I do applaud the owners for keeping the place running but I think they could try harder, but times are tough. This is a proper pub! Friendly, great beer and cider. This pub should be the model all pubs are modelled on. Perfect.
