"We dropped in for lunch and were warmly greeted by the best example of a Pub Landlady I have ever met. She was absolutely excellent, greeted us warmly, knowledgeable about the area and showed us to a table that was clean, of a suitable size and well spaced from other diners. The food, which was excellent (huge portions), arrived very quickly. Everything was clean and homely in a very friendly way. Certainly will be visiting again."

"We were on the way to see the caern giant and wanted to stop for something to eat. There were a few places to choose from but as soon as we popped our heads in at the new inn we were very warmly greeted and welcomed in. The lady that served us was extremely friendly and credit to the establishment. She recommended the shrimp burgers and the way she described them made them sound so delicious two of our party didn’t even need to look at the menu. Everything was delicious and fresh and we would eat there everyday if we could."

"We decided to eat here at lunchtime, as the waiting snakes were out of the door that we took as good signs. the sitting order is quite strange, only many long tables they need to share and press that is not ideal with kovid, but I can imagine is nice when it is quieter, we came on a Saturday. eating was quite disappointing for the price, toastia/caabatta soggy and no garnish or anything else on the teller. cutlery and sauce system was not clear, as some people got cutlery some did not and we ended up working it ourselves. coworkers do not wear masks that are out of the setting taking into account signs asking customers too- bit hypocritical"
