the first time that we have visited here since the renewal and it is nice . we had sunday roasts, which was the best roast we had since absolute times. personal very friendly and gf was no problem. compliments to the chef, perfect. This pub/restaurant fancies itself as something its not. It tries to be some sort of gastro pub with home made pies although to be fair, we can't remember what we ate as none of it was memorable. Very poor fare for anyone who doesn't...want a meat fest. A tasteless chili with stale tortilla chips is what sticks in the mind.
