Robbie's at Kempsey was a convenient lunch stop for us on the way to Byron. We ordered a chicken burger and schnitzel wrap. Meals were fresh and good value. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it's a decent option if you need lunch between port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour. read more.

"While most of the staff were in order and eating was reasonable, there was a young lady (long blonde haare,) who was all but openly hostile with my wife. that was a little more than just a bad day, I guess it was her. nothing was told or done to her than buying a Keno ticket. the meals were quite decent and came fast, and the younger girl who served them was quite pleasant, but this one lady at the bar went a little too far I feared. you do not see this kind of attitude so much in these days. she really radiated a mean and miserable atmosphere, and I guess she's unlikely to change. not a good strategy with the most tourists looking at online reviews! we are also native, and now we have tried to find the place that we would probably no longer disturb."
