We had heard the Thai food was good so went to try, we were not disappointed. Situated inside a pub with half the pub set aside for eating. The Thai food was very good, we were not disappointed. Good size portions, the Tom Yum soup was delicious as was the green curry, with a good spicy kick but not overpowering. What Robin Salmons doesn't like about Crown Inn:
Steak and Ale Pie the pasty on the sides and bottom of the Pie was undercooked and therefore very wet. This distroyed well cooked meat and gravy. The service from the waitress was good, marred my the unwelcoming attitude of the guy behind the bar, who I assume was the owner,clearly not a people person, very cold and no customer warmth from him on arrival or at the table.
