What rumfordg likes about Aldo's Fish:
Chilli haggis was tasty as...best I 've ever had.. chips are some of best too! And I 've eaten chippy in over 30 different towns and cities in uk!.. crispy in right places..good quality potato.. fryed well. And I went back in to buy a sauce .. But they gave it to me for free! Wow.. Saved me £1.50! (Ps I 've been a chef for 20 years!.. and I 'm quite picky tbh) read more.

Not from the area but have stopped in once before and it was nice. Only ordered chips, cheese and garlic mayo. The server asked if I wanted salt and sauce I believe, and I mistakingly said yes as I thought she said salt and vinegar (as had the been the case in every other chippy I’ve ever visited) when I saw her put the sauce on I was like oh sorry that isn’t what I wanted.
