Fantastically quirky historic hotel in the Cotswolds. The hotel has all sorts of hidden rooms and corridors plus a lovely bar with a log fire. Great staff. The room was great, we stayed in a 4-poster bed and free gin tonic was provided. Great breakfast. This is a privately owned hotel and is quirky and quintessentially English. Love it read more.

Aweful experience, cleanliness issues, slow service, poor attention to detail. Stayed with my husband for 2 nights and was only given 1 towel between us. The bed was incredibly hard and I expect sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable. Wr had a room on the front which was incredibly noisy all night. It’s only saving grace was an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. read more.
