We visited here on our last night whilst staying at the Burford Caravan Club site. This is a small typical Cotswold Pub, immaculately presented in a small hamlet off the Burford to Lechlade Rd turning on the crossroads to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. What PontyPwl doesn't like about The Rose Crown:
I visited a nicely decorated rural pub, but it lacked atmosphere (mainly due to being a Tuesday lunchtime) and the bare walls didn't help. The service was good. I picked this pub mainly for the food (menus available on their website), but I found the selection to be limited and not up to par with what I would expect from a gastropub.
