My friends and I booked two nights in the Royal Oak to celebrate each of us having recently turned 30 and we had an incredible weekend here! The hotel is beautifully quaint; perfect for a relaxing weekend away with a roaring fire and good local beers/ciders on draft too! We stayed in the Royal Oak very nice room but the radiators had a value on to stop turning them up . Had a drink in bar very nice but after our meal both fires had been turned off and it was very old ,also dinned in the restaurant and it was freezing had to sit in coats as were several other people,shame as it should be really cosy this time of year View all feedback.
