"A fantastic place to stop. You can tell right away that this is a well run restaurant with real processes in place focused on the customer. You're immediately greeted when you enter, stopping multiple times on our recent vacation both waitresses were attentive and competent, food was excellent and good value, and consistent. Washrooms were squeaky clean and charts for cleaning maintained on the hour. You can't go wrong here, we'll make it our default place to stop when travelling."

"Brownstone has a great ambiance and great good. My favorite is their Mac and Cheese, a must try dish of theirs. Whenever I go to Antigonish I make sure to make time and eat there. Vegetarian options: They have many vegetarian dishes as well. Service: Dine in"

"This is a wonderful unpretentious place on the main road of Antigonish. The staff was friendly and offered many information about the city and also the quality of oat cakes (if asked). Breakfast was a large portion of eggs, bacon, toast and tea. We took oats for the street and they threw in a few more free. This is a very basic diner, but a wonderful breakfast and wonderful lady at the counter."

"It's been awhile since I ordered from here. Usually get this ginger beef stir fry. But the portion size is half of what it use to be! Almost $20 for this. Pretty disappointing for a main dinner."
