Established in 1982, Toucan Wholefoods is a natural health store and cafe situated in the vibrant seaside town of Minehead. We offer a wide range of organic products from local certified producers, including fruit, vegetables, bread, dairy, and alcohol. Our selection also includes wholefoods, specialty foods for various diets, teas, herbs, spices, snacks, and an assortment of chocolates. In addition, we carry herbal and vitamin supplements, eco-friendly household cleaners, natural body care items, and baby care products. The shop is open from 9am to 5pm. Upstairs, our vegetarian cafe serves organic, fair-trade coffee, tea, smoothies, salads, signature Toucan quiches, and numerous vegan and gluten-free options. The second floor hosts complementary therapy rooms where qualified therapists provide services. Toucan became a part of the Naturalife Wholefoods family in Autumn 2019.

Amazing salads, soups, tofu burgers, cakes and specialties etc. provide veggie and vegan, but no meat that is Fab. Common feeling, book playback rule always warm and welcoming.

So impressed! It wasn't over the top. It is also a beautiful café with really beautifully made decoration, colors, art work etc. A great, cozy feeling. The food is delicious.

Visit Toucan Cafe every time I come to Minehead (Somerset is missing in many vegan cafes/restaurants). Between us three we had today the cream tea (vegetaric), the cunning tofu with mushrooms on toast (vegan) and the Mediterranean Veg Pesto sandwich with a chocolate and avocado smoothie (both vegetarian). I had the tofu I could eat through the truck (9/10). Edit: another visit, another tofu sculpted tofu! Also tried the oat milk seasoned Chai Latte, which was beautiful.
