What Nat likes about The Truffle House Cafe:
We recently moved to West Vancouver and are so happy that we've found the Truffle House. It's one of the best breakfast spots in west van. My husband schedules regular breakfast business meetings there and we often stop by for brunch on the weekends. The service and the food are excellent, must try their mimosa and the truffle fries, and pasta, especially the dessert. The crepe is the best I have tasted.

"The food is very good to be honest. I have dined many times already but I decide I will not go again any more.First, I was parking my car when my friend carrying a 10 months old baby lining up at 5pm sharp. My friend requested to get a table first and feed his starving baby. The waitress won't let them in because they said the whole group didn't fully arrive yet. Come on I was parking my car with 3-5 min delays, why can't they be reasonable or kindness to let us get a table and feed the baby first???Second, we have been told there is limited dining time until 6pm while I saw a few 2 people tables and 4 people tables occupied by 1 person only. I know lots of people lining up already but it could be better if they can operate the restaurant more effectively.Third, I ordered a large assorted set for me and my wife, and a soup udon set for my 2 5 and 6 years old kids. Then the waitress said there is a minimum charge and forced me to order more.I love eating Japanese food and admire Japanese culture. This is the worse Japanese dining experience I have ever had in my entire life."

"While we worked in my friend's house over the street, we decided on a Deli sandwich for lunch one of the days and coffee on some of the other days. the Italian deli bungalow was highly recommended. they make them fresh whatever meat and cheese you want. You have to try. They also have outdoor seats for beautiful days."

You guys are so creative and you have pretty good ideas.After reading the previous reviews, I expected the items to taste fresh and “special”. I got a cupcake and a bar.
