"This is our first visit after some disappointing experiences at other fish and chip shops. This was a delight. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fish was very fresh and there were several choices. Spring roll was plump and quality. Everything was well cooked and not at all oily. This will become our regular. We cannot recommend it highly enough."

"Wow!! Our first dinner at the Thai Villa Restaurant and the food, service, and atmosphere was an excellent standard. I had chicken satay as my entrée....delicious and duck as the main, and it was so perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious we're definitely looking forward to getting back there. Thanks to the staff....fantastic job. Very happy customer. If you're thinking of going, it's well worth it and is in the bridge block"

"Funky cafe and bar in downtown Whanganui. The decor is bright and vibrant. Drinks are (naturally) served in bright orange crockery. I relaxed in a comfy seat with a cheese scone (very salty) and hot chocolate and enjoyed the free wifi. Good service with friendly staff."
