I think this is one of the best cafes on the coast. Friendly service, great quality food with flavour that isn't just sweet or salty. I think the owner is a real deal, properly trained chef. You can taste it in the food. When you eat in you get side salads and extra decals on your sweet treats (sprinkled icing sugar etc. Great coffee, too. Clean and tidy and kid friendly. read more.

"I like this place. Never too noisy or too crowded, but busy enough to create atmosphere. Good coffee and tea. Good food. Friendly waitstaff. Good parking, and close to supermarket and other shops. I visit two or three times per week, and have made the acquaintance of many nice people."

"I’d really like to give this restaurant 5 stars because their food is absolutely delicious, I love their extensive menu and they are soo friendly! But I came here on a Saturday night at around 8:45pm and they said sorry we’re closed now and they were ready to walk out the door, when their hours say they close at 9:30pm, it was just a let down as we had made the trip from Albany deciding this Japanese restaurant was the better option than the one down there, and ended up missing out on both. Another time I called on a Thursday night at 7pm asking to place a takeaway order and they said sorry we’re only doing dine in. Just annoying experiences with this restaurant unfortunately, although I have dined in on two occasions and it was great."
