Although the restaurant had a good selection, our experience was disappointing. We ordered a hamburger with a gluten-free bun due to our son's celiac disease. Although the restaurant had a good selection, our experience was disappointing. We ordered a hamburger with a gluten-free bun due to our son's celiac disease. Despite our conversation with the waitress about cross-contamination, the burger was brought out with a gluten bun. When we questioned the server, she seemed unsure and had to check with the kitchen, confirming our suspicion. The original waitress claimed she had communicated clearly with the kitchen, but there was still a mix-up. The lack of apology or acknowledgment of their mistake was concerning. The gluten-free chicken strips were enjoyable, but overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
We frequently visit Cure Lounge for appetizers or a relaxing afternoon on their beautiful outdoor terrace. The Happy Hour specials are fantastic and they offer a variety of delicious gluten-free options, such as fries, poutine, and roasted chicken. It's a safe choice for individuals with celiac disease.
We frequently visit the Cure Lounge for apres-ski or a relaxing afternoon on their outdoor patio. The happy hour deals are fantastic, and they offer a variety of delicious gluten-free options, such as fries, poutine, and fried chicken. All of these items are safe for those with celiac disease.
Previous review: When I called to inquire about gluten-free options, I was informed that there is a high risk of cross-contamination and no separate fryers, making the items unsafe for Celiacs. I suggested that they make changes to accommodate us in the future, and hopefully they have taken my advice.
The restaurant has a good selection, but there were issues with our order. We ordered a hamburger with a gluten-free bun due to our son's celiac disease. Despite discussing cross contamination at length with the waitress, the kitchen still served us a gluten bun. The staff did not seem very apologetic or aware of the seriousness of their mistake. The gluten-free chicken strips were tasty, but overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
