"I am surprised this is an awarding winning restaurant. It was like a zoo in there! It was ridiculously noisy with drunk people standing on a soap box talking very loudly. The server was no where to be found throughout our entire meal. The appetizers (lobster bisque and foie gras) were decent, just decent. The ribeye was horribly sweet and when you pair it with the asparagus (which they drenched in maple glaze), our taste buds and appetite were ruined for the rest of the evening. Don 't go here even if you were to grab a quick bite."

"We walked into this place looking for something different. We found exactly that. The menu was full of interesting options with a German spin. Definitely not the same sandwich and pizza menu we had been seeing. The 10 beer tabs in the place were full...of an awesome mix of local craft beers. Truly something for everyone. The fellow that server us turned out to be the owner of the place. A fantastic guy to chat to and a gold mine of local information. Well worth the stop. Thanks Jonny!"

"Grants Platter for Two was fantastic. Very generous portions. We opted for the green salad and smashed potatoes as our sides, and would recommend both. Will definitely order again on our next trip to Whistler."

"If you are in Whistler and are looking for ramen, Samurai Bowl in Creekside has one of the best vegan ramen you will find. It has the perfect taste and the noodles are amazing. The other vegan items on the menu are also good. I probably tried everything and never had a bad experience. The staff at the counter are always super nice and the food comes faster than I expect. It is hard to find places that vegan gyoza so we were really excited when we discovered that they are doing! There were limited seats before-COVID, and so even less now, but if you decide to eat in it is a nice cozy atmosphere. You also have a loyalty card and after a certain amount you get something free whatever is beautiful. Very recommended!"

"I made a reservation myself, weeks before we were to arrive in Whistler. We were tired so asked front desk about going or not, was told it’s the best restaurant in Whistler, you must go and reservations are hard to get so we decided to proceed. Our family of 4 was seated immediately, only to be placed in a bench seating , us being the middle table, my husband requested a separate table which we were moved to. After that, drinks, dinner and dessert were awesome. I would highly recommend the restaurant, just make reservations in advance so your not disappointed."
