"We chose this for our last dinner in Whitehorse and what a treat! We all enjoy curry and flavours in food. We started with a prawn with spicy butter and float (a bread stick that is crispy outside like a churro). One of us had the curry stew with prawns, I had jerk chicken and someone had someone had Dahl with chickpeas. All had lots of flavour and just enough heat. The curry stew had I believe polenta in the middle and stew and large prawns with a delicious sauce. The jerk chicken was heaven it fell off the bone and had some kick, my spouse had the Dahl which was good but I was happy I ordered what I did.The menu is limited but I guess there is nothing on it that wouldn't be delish. We went right as it opened on a Sat and it was quiet. We were hungry as we skipped lunch and were ready for dinner. Yum yum yum"

"Definitely a place to eat in Whitehorse. Great service and the meal for the most part was delicious. My wife and I shared the halibut and ribs and it was delicious! Except for the green beans. Tasted like they were right off the plant, very bitter. That's the only complaint though. Would very much eat here again, just no green beans."

"We had dinner 2 nights at this pub, it was noisy and fun on Friday night and quieter on Saturday night. The wait staff were attentive but not in your face. The food was really good."

"I WILL NOT SUPPORT A PLACE THAT WILL NOT SUPPORT THEIR STAFF. THIS EMPLOYEE WAS ALL BY THEIR SELF MANAGING KITCHEN AND FRONT.picked up our order. They bypassed tip option. Offered to grab cash and strongly said no. The owner takes all the tips .First of all if you're all by yourself, how would anyone know what you got for tips unless they physically check you?I did my part to try and report this. I hope to see something done with this.Will not eat here again. And I hope the staff get treated well and find something more beneficial.When it comes to tipping in Canada, the business owner and managers cannot legally take or retain tips earned by their employees. ...edit: YOUR STAFF DID NOTHING WRONG BUT DO THEIR BEST UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES. . "Considered this a 4 star review. As a Japanese ramen lover, I was overjoyed learning a ramen-ya was opening in town. Then they had to put cilantros on their noodle. No cilantros on ANY food! Wasn?t trying to suppress creativities but it was not ?ramen?. So I stopped going. They updated their menus, they took out inedible green weedy ingredients, and it actually tasted great now. Keep it up. And leave weeds where it should be. The ground, the dumps, not in the bowls."
