Very much rustic with a bit of a cafeteria feel. Could use some warmth of ambiance. Entertainment was awesome. Overall a good pick.

After reading the reviews, I disappointed to find that this place less ambience than a McDonalds. Basically wood plank is the decor, and not a stitch of fabric...

Nice small place, not easy to find but that adds to the appeal. Servings were ok in size. Food was great. Night life could be fun considering the likely crowd....

"What a gem! Amazing food, seriously. I loved their sandwich. Even though they use some fine ingredients the price is very reasonable. Had the blue cheese sandwich and just loved! They carry lots of food to go, like meats and salads. I didn't try them, but definitely looked good. Staff was very kind, and I didn't wait much for my food."

"This brewery is a must-see if you're in the Ottawa Valley. I was posted in the Ottawa Valley for three years and this was my favourite place to go out. Love the location, the selection of brews and all around experience. Always look forward to coming back to the area to visit and pick up some growlers."

"Best French Fries in the Ottawa Valley. Free gravy on your fries. 4 napkins . Fast friendly service. Good parking. Convenient location on Trans Canada highway 17 for cross country travelers. You wont be disappointed. Havent tried any of the other food but lots of platters being sold when i was there today at 1 pm. I very seldom stop to rate food outlets but this one deserves the accolades Mjt"

"We dropped into the Brisons Bistro Wednesday evening for their Date Night Special. We met the new Executive Chef Kristopher and his team.. The special of the evening was authentic Butter Chicken made from scratch. Basmati Rice and Nan Bread . It was absolutely fantastic....We came back in Dec. and try his Rib Eye steak which was excellent. The New Menu has changed. Now they have a Rack of smoked ribs. Bison Burger, pasta and other excellent meals. KRISTOPHER IS A 5 STAR EXEC CHEF.. Bravo Bryson's Bistro !!!"

"Pretty good food for the price. Got fish and chips, chicken fajitas, and Jim 's burger. All was pretty good. Fajitas were awesome. Just wished I had gotten more than 3 tortillas as there was much more filling than could fit in 3 even stuffed to the brim. The 'Better than sex ' cake was pretty darn good. Maybe not fully worthy of the title but close"

"I had a spicy chicken sandwich and poutine, It was so tasty! The portion size was great, felt nice and full but not so over full I couldn’t move. To me that’s super important because I don’t like wasting food when I go out to eat and I don’t like feeling obligated to jam it all in until I feel so full I could explode as not to waste any lol. I love that they go all out with their meals because who doesn’t love cheese and bacon and for an affordable price at that. The staff is wonderful, Everyone is super friendly and funny ! Beware when liking this page, all those lovely pictures of food will have your mouth watering I get constant comments from my boyfriend about how yummy everything looks ! Keep up the great work"

"The food here is tasty! We got lucky and we're able to be seated quickly there's often a long line for a pretty small place. I was disappointed by the tea we were served. It looked high quality (larger leaf pieces in pyramid bags), but the water was lukewarm, so I didn't really get much of a brew out of it. Then, even though it's a somewhat expensive item, our wait staff person more lukewarm water into my empty cup with the used tea bag. However, that was my only real complaint about the breakfast."
