please save your time and money. understaffed and overpriced. it literally tasted like nasty fair food. fish sandwhich was not a wholesome patty it was two skinny pieces. none of the buns were toasted. the fries were cold. the wait was so long. the tarter sauce of course fell short. no lemon wedge for the fish and chips. Fast and friendly service, delicious halibut and cod fish n chips, delicious clam chowder. There's nothing more you need to know. Eat here.

"Service and flavors need improvement. Definitely the nicest place to stay in Whittier. Good views, nice atmosphere, and very clean. The restaurant, however, leaves much to be desired. While the beer and wine list was good, the food and service were disappointing. I had dinner with my boyfriend here, and our waiter did not do a good job at all of telling us about the specials... in fact it seemed like he just made up the info rather than taking the time to really know what the specials were. The menu has ambition, but the flavors did not mesh well- kind of like the chef was trying so hard to impress with the presentation that he didn't stop to think about the taste. There are better places to eat in Whittier, but this is a nice place to stay or to stop in for a drink."

"A quick, fun little spot for lunch. Clam Chowder is just delicious. The Calamari was well prepared as well and the Halibut Sandwich was fresh although not spectacular. The Fries were skinny and not my favorite. I would definitely recommend that you stop in for some Chowder!!"
