If you are looking for good, home cooked delicious food, in my opinion Humble Pie Cafe is the best not only in Standish, but the Wigan area too. Jacquie, the owner, offers an excellent choice of meals and snacks at very competitive prices. You can choose to eat in the cafe itself or order take away food and beverages. What 515arranw doesn't like about Humble Pie Cafe:
Went there for 2 take away bacon and sausage barms. I ordered them and immediately heard the microwave so obviously have been cooked previously and then warmed up. The bacon was really tough. I ordered a latte, I saw the lady get Aldi branded coffee out of the cupboard, then poured milk in the top and put it in the microwave. They are also selling multipack Aldi cans separately.
